The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue

3.5-- There's no denying that when The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue is good, it's good. There are compelling characters, sharp dialogue, and beautiful imagery. But, I found that in the several instances that it was lacking, it dragged and annoyed-- there were several repetitive elements that came off as self-indulgent, and it was easy to get lost as to which setting and timeline were happening, to the point that the storyline shifts felt a bit superfluous.
